1. Acceptance
By installing or using KDP Quick Scout (the "Extension"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't install or use it.
2. What the Extension does
The Extension reads publicly-visible data from Amazon book pages you actively browse and provides analysis tools (price/BSR tracking, AI-driven niche analysis) for KDP authors and indie publishers. It is a research tool — not financial, legal, or publishing advice.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Extension to scrape Amazon at a scale that violates Amazon's terms.
- Reverse-engineer, redistribute, or repackage the Extension.
- Submit content to AI analysis that you don't have the right to analyze.
- Abuse the AI rate limits or attempt to bypass quota enforcement.
4. AI analyses
AI analyses are generated by third-party language models (Google Gemini). They are best-effort summaries and may contain errors, outdated information, or speculative content. Don't make publishing decisions on AI output alone.
5. No warranty
The Extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
6. Changes
We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced in the Extension or by email. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.
